
Renvyle Fisheries Ltd. is registered with the Department of the Marine as Importers, Exporters, and Wholesale Distributors, Approval No: IRL3GY 0005.
We carry a full range of Frozen Fish which are sourced from Approved Companies throughout Europe and delivered by Refrigerated Transport to Renvyle.
All deliveries are thoroughly checked on a Flowchart Inwards System to ensure Product Specification, Sell by Dates, Batch Nos / Codes are present and that there are no visible Damages or Microbiological Growth or other Hazards on boxes sustained in transit and the Temperature(s) on arrival are recorded and filed. All Products are also recorded on a flow chart outwards for traceability.
All goods inwards are delivered and are also stored on plastic pallets in our Freezers.
We have a Modern Vehicle Fleet with Frozen Temperature Control System in place and all our drivers are instructed in Hygiene Procedures and to monitor temperatures on route. Each driver is provided with a protective overcoat which is to be worn on all deliveries. Each driver is instructed to maintain the cleanliness of their own delivery vehicle. The vans are thoroughly washed weekly with Quatdet Solution when working with the frozen and daily when working with fresh fish. The vans are all cleaned out daily after each delivery with a disinfectant wash and maintained to the highest level of cleanliness.
The Building which houses the freezers and chill rooms is modern concrete built with pvc on the interior walls for easier cleaning and maintenance with an all weather loading enclosed bay.
Our premises is HACCP, with separate HACCP for both the frozen and the fresh fish which are filed for inspection by the Dept. of Marine. We have a Cleaning Manual in place which includes Plant Layout, Cleaning Procedures and Instructions to Staff, Cleaning Materials Cleaning Solutions, their use and purpose and Persons Responsible for same. We also have an Up to Date Pest Control System in place with Rentokil. Our Freezers are each monitored with Computerised Calibrated ThermaData Loggers for their Temperature, ranging from -18 to -24 degrees and have internal alarms for over or under Optimum levels of Temperature which are recorded on Computer System for inspection by the Department of The Marine. All delivery vehicles are checked for correct temperature before product is unloaded and dispatched into our Freezers. Our freezers are alarmed 24 hours a day seven days a week.
We strive constantly to improve our Cleaning and Hygiene Practices and have written instructions for our staff to follow Proper Hygiene Regulations. It is our policy to Personally Explain the Aims and Objectives of the Business with regard to Production, Distribution and Hygiene Standards and our requirement for our Level of Hygiene is also explained.
With regards to documentation on Products: All our products are marked on exterior for; Product Specification, Best Before Date, Production Date, Catch Area / Origin, and Factory or Batch No. We check all our goods inwards for these dates and numbers and they are recorded and filed in a Flow chart for traceability as part of the HACCP implementation we have in operation on our premises for inspection by the Department of the Marine.
